Claude
Create Synthesia videos from a conversation in Claude.
Use this integration if you already work in Claude and want to turn an idea, a script, or a document into a video without switching apps. Synthesia connects to Claude through Synthesia MCP, so you can pull in content from your other Claude connectors, such as Slack, Notion, or Google Drive, and turn it into a video in the same chat.
What you can do
- Create a video draft: Ask Claude to turn an idea or script into a Synthesia video draft built from your workspace's templates and avatars. Open the draft in the Synthesia editor to refine it, then ask Claude to generate the final video.
- Create and edit a Syren video: Include "use Syren" in your prompt. The Syren player appears in the chat, and you refine the video by describing the changes you want. See Use Syren in ChatGPT and Claude.
- Search your video library: Find videos you already have access to in Synthesia without leaving Claude.
Connect Synthesia to Claude
Synthesia isn't listed in Claude's connector directory yet, so you add it as a custom connector. How you connect depends on your Claude plan:
- Personal Claude account: Add Synthesia as a custom connector yourself from
Settings→Connectors. - Claude Team or Enterprise: An admin adds Synthesia once for the organization, then each member connects their own Synthesia account from
Settings→Connectors.
Once connected, start a new chat, select the + menu, and switch on Synthesia.
For step-by-step setup, see the Claude connector guide. Check the prerequisites before you start.
For the full list of tools, permissions, and limits, see Synthesia MCP.
