OS and browser requirements to use Synthesia application.
Use the latest version of Google Chrome for the best experience with Synthesia.
Supported browsers
Synthesia supports the following browser and versions:
- Google Chrome: version 133 and up
- Microsoft Edge: version 134 and up
Supported operating systems
Windows
To use Google Chrome on Windows, you'll need:
- Windows 10 or later or Windows Server 2016 or later
- An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE3 capable
MacOS
To use Google Chrome on Mac, you'll need:
- macOS Catalina 10.15 or later
Linux
To use Google Chrome on Linux, you'll need:
- 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 10+, openSUSE 15.2+, or Fedora Linux 32+
- An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE3 capable
Mobile
Synthesia supports a mobile browser experience for self-serve users. No app download is required.
Some features — including the video editor — are only available on desktop. For full feature access, use Synthesia on a desktop or laptop. See Can I use Synthesia on a mobile device? for details on what's available on mobile.
