Captions

Display script text dynamically in your video.

Dynamic captions help keep your viewers engaged and focused on the video.

Adding dynamic captions

  1. Click the Captions icon in the toolbar

  2. Select a caption format to add it to the canvas:

    Dynamic caption presets

  3. Position the captions by dragging them to the desired location in the scene, the same way you would any other other canvas element

By default, captions display the entire scene script when first added to a scene. Use triggers to define which part of the script you'd like each captions element to include.

👍

To add captions with the same style settings to all of your scenes, copy and paste the caption element into all of the scenes in your video.

This way, the style settings will be preserved, and you won't have to manually set them for the caption elements in all of your scenes.

Dynamic caption settings

To change the styling of your captions, select the caption element and adjust its settings from the inspector panel.
