Shared with me
All videos and folders owned by other users that have been shared with you.
Any videos and folders that have been shared with you by another Synthesia user will be visible in the Shared with me page.
Edit videos
Hover over a video thumbnail and click on the Edit button to open that video in the editor.
Video actions
Hover over a video thumbnail and click on the three-dots on the right side to access the more actions menu.
If the video is still in draft mode, you can:
- Invite: Invite another member to edit or comment the video.
- Move to: Move the video to another folder, Workspace, or My Videos (or any combination thereof).
- Duplicate: Create a copy of the video.
- Translate: Translate the video into one or more languages.
- Save as a template: Transform your video scene layout into a template.
If the video has been generated in addition to the actions above you can:
- Publish: Create a shareable page for the video.
- Download : Download the video as an
.mp4. - Download audio: Download the video audio as a
.wavfile. - Download subtitles: Download the caption / subtitles of the video as a
.srtor.vttfile.
Delete a video
Select a video then click on Remove to delete it. Once removed the video is still available in the Trash section for 30 days. Removing a video from the Shared with me page deletes it for everyone—not just you.
Sorting and display
Use the sorting, ordering, and display options in the upper right of the Shared with me page list to more easily navigate your videos folders and videos.
Sorting
Sort your folders and videos based on the following logics:
- Alphabetical: Sort items in alphabetical order.
- Date created: Sort items by date of creation.
- Last update: Sort items by date of last edit.
Each sorting option can be further configured with an ordering option:
- From A to Z or Z to A for the alphabetical sorting option.
- Oldest first or newest first for the Date created and Last updated sorting options.
Display options
Choose to display videos and folders shared with you as icons or as a list.
- Icon: Displays all items as thumbnails (icons for folders).
- List: Display all items as an array with key metadata: Title, length, creator, last edit date.
